Is this stuff non-corrosive???

The box says "non-corrosive", but does that mean the powder, or does it include the primer?? I believe it says that they are berdan primed.

I had 40 rounds of 7.62M43 fmj and dumped it through my SKS. No probs other than a couple blown primers but the czech surplus seems like better quality IMO. The only thing wolf has going for it is that it's non-corrosive.

I'm disappointed to hear the "crap" comment, but I am glad to hear that it is actually non-corrosive as I picked up nearly a full case at $4/box over the weekend.

Now I guess I'll try it out and decide for myself if it is any good.

flip1, I will disappoint you even more, crap +1.

Blown primers is one issue, that I witness. Others have reported missing flash holes, missing primer pockets, missing primers, primers set upside down, bullet cores rattling inside the jackets etc.

I measured OAL and weigthed loads, bullets and rounds and found very large variances in the lot I owned. This results in poorest accuracy of all ammo I ever owned and shot.

The only upside of Wolf is that it is non corrosive - so well said.

PPPfff all this is bull ... I've fired more than 500rds of X39 wolf with excellent results.
Again with the conspiracy theories ..like in the past Norinco was considered crap and now people are yearning for it.

Question: What's a better alternative than Wolf??? I'm all ears ..

how hard would it be to get the wolf ,Ulyanovsk and Vympel, Barnaul & Klimovsk onto the approved list?

Uly is there. Klimovsk may be, their 22 was. I'd have to check. Takes some paperwork and some time.

Enough huffing and puffing - if you were in combat and a primer separated and jammed your magazine, you'd be dead or had different opinion on Wolf. Same about other primer issues.
