Marlin had one as well, don't recall the model but I think it had a bad reputation. I'd probably go for the CZ if I didn't already have a pair of Ruger's and a Tanfoglio.

No FRT for that Kel-Tec. Would be restricted due to OAL and the pistol uses the same mag thus 10rd gimping.

I do like the looks of the Appeal, however, if I could get something like the Ruger SR-22 rifle in .22 Mag, I'd be on that like a fat kid with chocolate!

Recently purchased a savage A22. Bought it for the delayed blow back feature and past Savage experience. Previous 22mag autos have had lots of problems. The gun shoots alright but the accu trigger has creep and the mag is funky. Guess you get what you pay for.

Congrats on beta testing a new product, heh. You weren't able to adjust the trigger to something better?

No you can turn it down but still has a little creep unlike my 308 which is excellent. Guess I owned too many Smiths.

I had one several years ago as a gun to bridge between my custom 10-22 and Rem 700 in 223. It functioned very well but the accuracy was a big disapointment so I eventually sold it and got the Ruger 10-22 mag. This also had an accuracy issue even with after market parts so I sold that as well. In those days I was looking for everything in semi auto but soon realized that was the problem where accuracy and sometimes function was concerned. My best move in rimfire was to accept that semi's were at a disadvantage and unless I was prepared to spend big dollars I might as well stay with a bolt action. Currently the most accurate gun I own at 100 yds (in any action, style or caliber) is my Anschutz 1717 in 17 HMR. This rifle has been shot by many people over the years and all agree with my opinion. I am still looking for the elusive semi auto that will shoot better but I have a Swiss Arms sniper in .223 that is pretty close. Phil.

I've had an oldie pass through (H&R model 700) and still have a rough Kodiak 260 (first patent for .22WMR semi). I'd like to find another 700.
Had a Rem597 that was recalled because it was in .17HMR, and the Remington solution was to rebarrel to .22wmr. Very fine rifle.

As fun a semi .22wmr are, none of them compare to an old Mossberg Chuckster bolt action. No ammo sensitivity at all.
