Yes...all of these things, but the cool factor is through the roof. Impractical as it is, I grabbed one on the EE and I am thoroughly pleased with it.

0/10...lol...how true. I also overpaid for a mint one, but I am not regretting it yet.

Mine locked open just fine. I meant they don't lock nicely when folded imho, they rattle when folded closed... should have some spring tension or something holding it to the barrel/receiver.

I affixed a piece of thick rubber on the buttpad, almost the same as what is shown in McCoy's pic. It actually provides just a small amount of tension when the stock is folded and kind of snugs it in place. I think a BNIB unit comes with a very thin little rubber sheet with adhesive backing, probably to prevent scratching the hell out of the barrel if anything.

they look stupid unfolded. i had to have one when i was in high school for my 870 but after getting one it wasn't as cool as i thought. looks better in the movies!

It's a real treat when the shoulder plate half folds up during firing and the metal plate becomes a wedge into your shoulder absorbing all that lovely recoil into about two inches of pure delightful pain.

I have one but I've never used it.

Keep it thinking it would be perfect on a 5+1 HP9 with a custom 16" barrel. Shortest non-restricted you could get.
