Nea 102

I sure wont buy a restricted NEA... LoL

Ditto. I'll be the first one throwing my visa at the computer screen if it comes in NR. But if hard R? What's the point.

Maybe NEA is just holding back for next week because the Military (I believe) and RCMP both get their retro pay. :p

Ive been reading thru the NEA threads for a couple days now.......but its making my head hurt trying to peice together exactly what the controversy is. In a nut shell, someone help me out please.

AR are restricted by name. Original AR10 came before the AR15, there for not a AR15 varient and instead is Non-restricted. RCMP historically called all new AR10 AR15 varients =restricted. NEA is basing the 102 design off the original AR10, and there for it can not be defacto AR15 varient. But now they have to convince the RCMP that is the case in order to be granted a Non restricted FRT number.

Thanks. So why does the company apparently " suck". Do their products suck? I only ask because I was looking at an NEA last weekend.....just wondering if they are junk product...or justba bad reputation.?

I have never had one, so I cant speak to the quality, and the left this forum before I was a member, but to my knowledge some shaddy shilling went down, and the odd part or rifle has had its issues. I know they seem to be well recieved in NZ. As far as I am concerned they are more of a budget manufacturer but with a fairly good value to dollar ratio. If the NEA 102 is NR, I will be picking one up even though I have an ATRS MH.

We'll sell close to $100k of NEA product to the Canadian market each month. If the products still had some issues this wouldn't be the case and you'd see it all over CGN. Yes some of the early generation guns had some issues but I don't think the warranty calls we've had this year is over 10 and 1/2 of those were older guns. Yes that muzzle device did make it out some how but the guns work great now.

IMO it's BS to string people along for months, then to finally get the frt, 4 days after they said the lab will get it to them, and to post that bull#### on FB. Really?

You deserve a swift kick in the nuts.
