.308 Tavor

Lol you beat me to it!

Pretty neat hybridization of X95 and TAR21 functions. I'm curious about that SCAR style gas system.

Now start saving for the 2025 arrival on store shelves...

Assuming they have plans to export it, it's still going to be a $3k rifle that may lack the accuracy many are hoping for.

This. NEA102 Is in a league of its own just based on the price point. Tavor's have a poor track record as an "accurate" platform, so I dont expect this to be DMR material.

Not to mention, shorter bullpups tend to be a little more difficult to shoot accurately, due in part to how close the bags/bipod are and also the awkward shape for bench/prone shooting.

Might make an awesome thick bush hunting rifle tho!

We could also be surprised, as internally it appears to be quite different from the TAR or X95. I wonder how much (any?) involvement IWI has had in the design process? Aside from a few similarities to the TAR and X95 it's actually quite different from a design standpoint.

Oh yeah its not gonna be a tack driver....plus you and I both know that is wont be coming anytime soon........but we also both know that all the fancy guys with lots of money or lots of debt will still buy them, only to put them on the EE a week later. Just like what will happen with the NEA102. lol

But yeah, the NEA102 is kind of in a small league (FN FNAR & M1A) so its really not the same as a 308 Tavor.

This is true, and things are definitely different, some things that indicate as much are the upside down under-mounted barrel lock and the gas piston adjustment sticking out the front.

Overall they kept the ergos of the x95, but put it in a obese Tar21 stule body. Interesting to note that it looks like it has a MP5-esk CH lock.

Will be all over this like a fat kid on cake. Will buy the NEA102 while I wait for the SCAR-H and will use the SCAR-H until this .308 Tavor becomes available.

I just hope the SCAR-H doesn't got prohib . fingers crossed.

He didnt seem to thrilled earlier when he texted me about it, and to be honest I am not that interested either. My next big purchase will probably be a NEA 102 for ####s and giggles since I have my MH already. Then it will be the Scar H, and hopefully the MDR someday. But a .308 Tavor just really doesn't get me jacked.

Now if they were introducing a new model of the x95 reskinned as the Meron, I would be going nuts for it.

I thought the regular Tavor had decent accuracy, but the x95 suffered only.. mostly due to it being designed as an sbr and elongated to fit US and Canadian "laws"
