Abby Multi-Weapon Operations whos going ?

How much kneeling position is done on this course?

Last time it took me 3 weeks of ice packs and warm packs on my knees. I'm 40, I played 20 years of hockey, my knees are done.

There was a bit of kneeling and prone, but not a ton. I feel your pain (39 and had a meniscus repair on one knee) and I made it through ok. Got some good pads?

Start wearing them now, it'll help avoid a lot of issues later ;). Find ones that work for you. I went through a ton of different pads, and ended up with arcteryx kneecaps. Low profile, comfortable, and they mostly stay where you put them.

Hey guys,

I was wondering who here has taken Multi-Weapon Operations course and if the Cz858 was an Ok choice ? Im worried about the stupid mag capacity    and how it might slow me down during the course.

for some weird reason I want to use my Cz858 instead of my ACR lol  Did the stupid 5 round limit hinder you during the course at all ? Ill still bring my ACR with my Beowulf mags JIC as a backup but wanted some first hand experience from people that have taken the course.

Can't wait for Oct 20th in Abby :)

Cheers :d

Why not just use 5 rnd stripper clips to reload? With a bit of practice, you should be able to use a stripper clip as fast as you can change a mag - or even faster. I do it with my CZ all the time in 3-Gun (may not be the same as this course you're taking though).

Just ordered a set of arc'teryx knee caps thanks for the heads up. I was actually surprised they were only 60$ lol... :)

If its a training course use the gun you want to use , ive done a couple of combat rifle course's and the instructor just had me load my mag's up to 5 rounds anyways so you get better at mag changes and manipulating your rifle , but if you have 2 options just bring both and you can do a switcheroo half way through!! save on ammo!!! and thanks for a heads up about this course i might take part im a member at abby LOVE THE RANGE
