Yeah - I ordered the last black one. I don't need it, but what the hell - it was an eat-a-box-of-ice-cream sort of day, and for me that translates to buy-gun-stuff

I have been holding off buying a 7.62x39 upper just waiting for a sale ( or a good one for sale on the EE ) anyone ?

I think the x39 is a good price. I certainly paid more to put together a windham kit a few years ago, where I needed to provide my own stripped upper and bolt carrier, and it's not a free float barrel.

Likewise, a disgraced former sponsor has a no-name brand upper for the same cost. I'd sooner buy Canadian, plus know what exactly I'm getting

I Will be buying one of the X 39 uppers I'm just trying to decide on the length, suggestions anyone?

My issue now is ammo. I have tons of steel cored I can't shoot it at my range can anyone suggest a sponsor who sells X 39 ammo that is range friendly i.e. not steel cored and not corrosive
