Hopefully it works out good. I missed the pre order but in a way I'm kinda glad I decided to sleep on it first yesterday . I am sure with the current Trump Slump in US gun sales we might see more stuff coming our way. Sales are always ####e when republicans hold office . I'm sure there was a lot of over production anticipating their election to go the opposite way. Plus the current boring stuff on our canadian store shelves might drop too . Maybe too much wishful thinking ...
 
I’m in on the first order.

So long as the MSRP is in the ballpark of the projected price, I won’t quibble about a few hundred bucks.

I think it might be premature to speculate, and assume the worst. Besides MSRP's usually don't reflect the street price.

My guess:

The original distributor on the frt phoned m&m over the terms of their agreement and m&m pulled the plug on further products to other dealers.

I expect the price will now go up, we can't have ppl avoiding the nr tax, now can we?

Sounds like they’ll have a new preorder up soon, thus, the preorder isn’t over until M+M says they can’t make that many rifles.

I hope M+M, Wolverine, and the Canadian gun owner all make out like bandits.

What does Wolverine have to do with this!?!?!

It was CanAm to initiate it and Wanstalls may have made a deal with the manufacturer before anyone else. Not too sure how Wolverine comes into play on this
 
Wanstalls is closed today. Perhaps, they had a certain number of pre-orders on their system and they ran out? Now that there is a reply from M+M, there certainly is some information still to come.
Once this gets settled as long as the price is in the range listed earlier, I am going to buy one. It looks great and I am bored with using my SKS to run through my non corrosive ammo.

Okay, I re-read it and saw the message where Wanstalls said they ran out of the limited number of pre-orders. They did say they would see what they could do later in the week.
