Omg...ffs...I don't mind the wait, or the idea of a surprise delivery...day 2 order here...

They should ask CBSA to snap a few pictures of the fixed stock version for us, lol!

Ok. So here is how customs works. On average they only 100% check less than 10% of all inbound craft. So out of 100 thats 10 (if my math is right). Our Out of that 10 they will only actually due a full 100% check on 1 craft. Now these numbers are from Toronto Pearson. Ships carry far more stuff than planes. Once the container(s) is/are off loaded they will check them. More than likely they will go after the ones with the 81s in them and probably only go through the first container and then paper work check the rest. This still will take time though. If the CBSA says no, they will confiscate the containers and notify the intended customer. Remember there is a three hour time difference between Vancouver and Toronto.

all is needed to put an end to this suspense is TI tells us that the shipment has landed, or the shipment has not and here is why.

You're right. They should never be expected to enjoy some downtime with their families after a long day at work trying to get these rifles in. Give your head a shake would ya! Not much point in an update until they've cleared customs.

How about an update that simply says, "arrived. Clearing customs"?
Right ! I love the people who are like they are not required to let you know anything.. it’s a business and money has changed hands. They stated they would land today, conformation after two years of delays and missed deadlines isn’t asking too much. I could understand if everything went smoothly from the get go.. but that’s hardly true.

How about.......patience. I'm sure we will here something from them in the next few days. At this point TIs hands are tied. There is nothing they can do to speed up the process. We are all at the mercy of time and customs at this point in time and that certainly includes TI.

I never once said they aren't obligated to inform us on timelines. I'm just as anxious as the rest of you but I'm looking at the situation at face value. All updates to this point have been estimates, once they clear customs I'm confident we will hear something from them. I'm expecting they will be as happy as we will be at that point.

Thank God I have Jenn-air to hound daily by asking for pictures of the appliances coming off the assembly line and demanding what container ship/port/and time they'll be unloaded and if they've cleared customs yet. Helps break up the monotony.
