An Update on Wanstalls M10x pre-order!

M&M have been the ones contradicting themselves. On their Facebook they mentioned they never talked do a dealer or knew about wanstalls and then after they say wanstalls misunderstood their original conversation. How the #### do you misunderstand the original conversation when you claim to not know of the company in the first place. M&M seem to be a bunch of liars backtracking so they can gouge us.

It's amazing how many people find it difficult to notice the very visible shenanigans in front of them, and CGN's sanitizing of the earlier threads didn't help. I wouldn't say our CDN distributors hold no blame, but I thoroughly suspect M+M is the primary entity here that's causing more of this confusion than anyone else. (false statements, back tracking on pricing from initial FRT submission, fabricating extra costs to justify a price bump – whoops, I mean NR tax)etc.

Totally looking forward for M+M's announcement tomorrow (hopefully) with the new MSRP as it will show their cards and intent from the get go.

Wanstalls may not have been buying directly from M+M considering there is a 18.6" version sold in usa. It makes sense since CanAm is claimed to be the sole Canadian importer and M+M has not said otherwise. To me it sounds like M+M did what they did to protect their distribution network in canada.

UPDATE:

Rest assured Wanstalls will be able to honor our initial pre order price to all the people who took part in our M10x pre-sale!
In close consultation with the President of M+M Industries, we believed at the time that we had the full and appropriate pricing structure...we did not. We misunderstood some of the information regarding pricing, as well as some of the issues distributing the gun in Canada. Some of this info we received led us to believe we needed to launch a pre-sale right immediately. We will bear full responsibility for our role in this rocky start.

To clear up any confusion regarding future pricing moving forward. M+M Industries is hard at work estimating the costs associated with a Canadian specific model. When they have determined this, we will be releasing a joint statement with more information on that pricing.

Wanstalls and M+M Industries appreciate all the support for the M10x rifle and look forward to bringing it to the Canadian market!

Please relax! Stand by! a very cool Non-restricted rifle is on it's way...

Wanstalls

Thank you

The initial price CanAm said they discussed with M+M was 2000-2500CND so i'm guessing you'll be ok with paying around that :D. I believe CanAm got mad and called M+M and said wtf u guys doing :D

From where I'm sitting (and taking into account the other options available and the platform itself) this rifle is not worth a penny over $1600 and I will not be paying anything higher than that for the M10X. There is one caveat to that however, if IRG were to bring in the M10X for the low US MSRP and swap an aftermarket barrel to make it NR + send me the 16" one as well, I'd happily pay more knowing that our oddly quiet and unresponsive distributors and M+M are not bending me over with their CDN NR Tax.

Seconded, I would happily pay extra for a NR+R combo deal. Great idea!

Final price shouldn't be much more than 1500$. With the BCL102 going for 1700$, I don't see how the m10x can fetch more than 1699$. For the same price, not many people would go for the m10x over the bcl102. So there's kind of a ceiling there.

Why would you say that? .308 vs cheap x39. Well made vs.. questionable past quality issues.

I wish people would stop asking for more .223 and .308 guns when we only have a few x39 guns that are worth buying.

So the Canadian Market model (aka the exact same gun but have a batch of the exact same barrels cut not as short) will be much higher in price? lol
I never had interest in this rifle. Still don't. But after reading through some of this, I've come to only one conclusion. It's not a conspiracy, either one or both of the companies underestimated interest in the rifle and have decided to make more profit by jacking the price up for the "Canadian Market Rifle" Likely both sides I would imagine.
A Canadian Market Rifle being essentially any NR Black rifle that shall sell for no less than $2,499 regardless of USD retail apparently lol I will be surprised if it comes in anywhere under $2,500 personally once they hit shelves up here.
What a s**t show.....

I heard that Trudeau owns m+m that's why it's been rolled out so incompetently and trying to pry out every dollar they can from the public.
