Hi. I'm looking for a muzzle brake for my Tikka CTR. I read a lot about the "heathen" from Insite arms. Seems to be good muzzle brake for money.
But, can somebody tell me, what is wrong with ATRS AR10? It is less expensive and should do the same job. The reviews are good as well.

I can't speak as to the ATRS AR10 but I have an Insite Heathen and it is a very effective muzzle brake. One difference I notice right away is that the Insite brake is self-indexing whereas you need to index the ATRS one with crush washers...

Thanks for the Heathen review. I understand, that that is the good muzzle brake and its self-indexing. And seems that nobody use ATRS brake :)
Thanks again

I had a ATRS on my gun worked good but switched to the Heathen, main reason was ease of removal for cleaning. If you want a ATRS I still have it like new, would give u a good deal on it.

APA little bastard or fat bastard. They are both very effective brakes and they are also self indexing. But I will be trying one of Insite arms heathen brakes on my 243W when I get it back from JC custom barrels

Area419 hellfire!

Andyyak1,
What do you like about the 419 brake specifically?
Obviously it is well made as 419 is a solid company ... but other than the ability to integrate a suppressor, what advantages do you see over brakes mentioned above?
