Is a Casting equipment exchange needed?

Could it be created as a sub forum of this forum. So as to not add to the huge main forum burden?


Casting gear and alloy is getting harder and harder to get.

Some here will have surplus lube sizers, sizing dies, molds, handles, casting pots, PID controllers, lead thermometers, and alloys

I would like to be able to do WTB (want to buy) Trades, and possibly discover things I didn't know I needed.

Is there interest? Or a need for a casting equipment exchange ?

Based on the traffic that visits the bullet/casting section I would hazard a guess probably not.

Although I would like to see one.

as a full time caster it would be a lot easier to find some stuff I am looking for and also sell a few items. the search part does not work very good for me as I always end up with 0 found items.

I would be all for this. I dislike crawling back through pages upon pages of ads to try and find casting related stuff.

I am all for it as well, but in the interim if you are having issues searching the form, I have better luck using Google for items I am looking for and picking the ones with CGN and/or Alberta Outdoorsman links. Not sure why it’s better, but I have better luck that way.

Anything that has to do with manufacturing your own projectiles.

We have an "air rifle" forum and I would hazard a guess that at least as many boolit casters as air gunners frequent these pages...I'm all for a stand-alone lead boolit/casting equipment EE.
