Buying a Timberwolf worth changing brake to Heathen?

i have/had a Coyote in 6.5/w the factory brake it was easy to spot my own hits, tried a Heathen on another Coyote and it was easier. My Coyote now wears a Heathen.

Curious on other who have experience with both the stock brake and Heathen on 338.

Thanks in advance.

Yup.
It's not just the recoil mitigation, what makes the heathen so popular is the lack of "blast" at the shooter. Which is especially noticeable with a 338.

I use the Heathen in my 6.5, love it. Got to watch the water filled milk jug explode at 500 yards. Not loud for the shooter, the sound comes back at like 8:00 and 4:00.

Does anyone have pics of the 338 Heathen brake? Have you tested yet your coyote Ed? Results? Pics?

Vertical lift caused by a barrel extension?....please help me to understand the essence of what measures a 'vertical lift' .... this is new to me...I've been flying rotor wing aircraft for thirty years thus I understand lift...and certainly vertical lift...please expound on that term in relation to a barrel brake...?!

What's the vertical lift like on a Heathen? Are there any videos showing the brake in action?

good evening
here is some context to lift (vertical lift) may be word play

I have five Heathens now on various calibers from .223 to 300 SAUM and they work well, you will have to rezero after install.

I think I have 7 or 8 of them now, lol, and obviously, super impressed with them. I have the 22 thru 338 caliber versions, mostly in the original steel material versions, but also have one of their super cool lightweight versions too. I really like the self timing and ease of install of them. I never more then hand tighten mine, and have never had one came loose yet. Plus it makes them very easy to spin off and clean too. Makes barrel cleaning that much easier as well.
I certainly didn’t mind the factory brakes I’ve had on my AI and Desert Tech rifles, but these are just that much better and the no tools needed instal and removal feature is great too.
