Interesting choice by Ruger. That is a lot of gun for the 10mm. You'd think a 5 (or 6?) shot 10mm in the GP frame would make a little more sense, but I'm sure that SRH will be a very nice shooter.
Yes the SRH may be a bit of overkill, the GP100 in 10mm would be a tidier package - very happy with my GP100 MC, a 10mm version would make for a nice pair lol.
i wish the SRH did not look like a grade 12 shop project, Why can't they make them look like giant GP100's.

Wow, looks like they are making a 'large frame' blackhawk as well and it comes with a 10mm and a .40S&W cylinder

Lots of 10mm options springing up these days.
Flat top and with a 38-40 cylinder to go along with it instead of .40 and I'd be tempted.
Otherwise I'm glad the SRH is so damn fugly.
