Cheers:cool:

Several excellent hunting rifles in the collection so I try to take each one out on a rotational basis. I had my .358 Winchester BLR out a number of times but it was my Sako 85 Kodiak .375 H&H Magnum that I was carrying when I called in the Bull Moose that I downed this past season.

I had my 94 30-30 out for a day. Of course, that was the day I saw one waaaay out there. Actually it wasn't that far, but I could barely see it in the grass. Nothing I wanted to shoot anyway, but if there had been a big buck out there I might have been fuming. I had intended to get it out more often, but I lost a few days due to weather and mechanical breakdowns.

I guided my good buddy to his first big game animal. He took a nice young black bear with a 1956 94 in 32 special. 170 gr Speer hotcor I loaded up for him
My 9422 may see a couple squirrel hunts this year

Both my brothers and myself all took out Win '94's, mine is an '81 yr, my youngest bro's is a '41-'46 and the other is pre '64, can't remember they year. Love hunting with these old levers, easy to carry and shoulder. Unfortunately we saw nothing but squirrels and turkeys. Sad face

I got a doe with my Marlin 1894 .44Mag. 20 yards and a neck shot with a Hornady 240gr XTP made it a quick harvest.

I got a coyote on the run with my full stocked Rossi RH in 45 Colt. I just carry the gun for protection while dog walking so I wasn't really hunting per se but it was a great passing shot IMO.

My wife took a nice doe with my 78 1894 marlin 44mag. . About 70 yards through the back of the head. She said that she didn't know that a deer could go down that fast!
I got a nice little 3x3 with my 1895 450 marlin.
Our daughter received a great gift of a 336 marlin in 35rem this year but she hasn't had the opportunity to put it to work yet.
