I'll hazard a guess that it appears there are far more CGNers that haven't received their orders than have 4 weeks in.

I don't want to insult anyone, but for those who have been waiting 18 months, does 1-2 week extra make any difference? I never participate in pre-orders even if there's a discount, I believe it's kind of a fool's errand, so I've never been in that kind of boat, but does it really make a difference?

2 weeks is a 2.5% extra time compared to 18 months. To me a price tag of 2.5% extra (that would be 25$ on a 1000$ rifle) wouldn't make a difference, and that's the best comparison I can relate to.

It makes a difference that I'm moving to a new address end of December.

Which is outrageous if the unit is defective seeing as they likely won't be able to replace them until next year as there are none left

I wouldn’t think it would count if defective. I can see if for sure if you decide you don’t want it for your own reasons...

Yes! Yes it does. When you leave those who ordered first for last you open up a whole can of worms that can be detrimental to your business. And we are seeing it unfold in front of us day by day.

First mag shortages where late orders have already received their extra mags and older orders will be shorted! Then a damaged, altered and worn rifle and now bent rifles, again late orders are getting rifles and earlier ones are still waiting and wondering if any good rifles will be left to ship by the time they get around to them.

Why you make your earliest most loyal customers wait while the seemingly most recent get all they ordered and get first crack at replacement rifles if their first was damaged is beyond me. The longtime faithful are getting screwed because of TI's shipping procedures. Had I shipped a order out like this I would have been fired for incompetence!

I don't know why you would even bring up time vs money, the first rifle shipped cost the same as the last no matter how long it takes. it's not really about time vs money. It's about how competent a business they are i.e. how they handle customers and issues with the shipment.

Just off the phone with T.I who cleared up some problems for me. They finally had the rifle released to them today, turns out Canada post put it in the WRONG p.o box regardless of the shipping label.. I received final warning from canadapost because they weren't going to release it to T.I. Today a canadapost manager came in and finally authorised the release of my rifle to T.I... So they informed me a few minutes ago my replacement is on the way and it's been inspected before being shipped out. I'll update when I have further info but in the end I should have my replacement in a couple days..
