What legitimate use is a gun light on a pistol in Canada?

As others have said, there are a few reasons such as:

Shootin matches in low light/at night
Self defence - technically legal.... but we all know the process is the punishment.
Some people just like the look
Some do it because they can...


I have a Surefire that goes on and off my pistol. I like the extra weight.
And shooting at night is fun... Ads a whole new challenge.
