They're back!
And strong: 1-8, less than 9" long, less than 500gr. MSRP 1700 us$.

How is that a miss? It likely has a ballistic reticle, so sight it in and forget it.

Would have to look at the detailed measurments but I think it's only an impression becauce it's so short. Like a NXS 5-25 but the front lens is where the front bell would start.

In the picture the turrets barely goes beyond the receicer, looks typical to me.

Nope, don't do it. Those 2.5-10 are a great scope, I love mine. This should just make a good addition to the family.

A side question - is it possible to install those cantilever mounts backwards? I'm thinking of the short rail on a SAG ak rail... (for those that don't know REMOVETHISsureshot-armament.com/product/ak-chassis-mk1/)

I don't see any reason why you couldn't use a cantilever mount backwards.

Unless it's a mount with a built-in cant (like 20moa) but most are straight. Then you don't want the throw levers too close to your charging handle but that applies to any setup.

It really is a cool little scope. Mine has the NPR2 reticle which wasn't normally offered in the NXS compact.

Rick at ATRS recommended this reticle which at first I wasn't sure about in this particular scope, but the more I use it the more I realize how useful a reticle it is. Really simple to operate.

Nope, don't do it. Those 2.5-10 are a great scope, I love mine. This should just make a good addition to the family.

Compared and it's the very same lenght and weight than their 1-4 scope! Which was already compact for a 1-4!
