Today I go to the range to practice and while waiting for my buddy I go over to drool over new handguns. Well I look at the Sig P226 X5 and SOLD!!! Also traded my Glock 17 since now I want the 320. The Sigs have a much better feel in my hand then the Glocks. I have been converted to a Sig man now. Has this ever happened to any else?

Excellent choice, except now they're going to multiply in your safe! X5's hate to be alone. What variant did you get?

Good for you! Funny that I just sold a lovely Sig X series to get the Glock that I wanted, but I won't say anything bad about Sig because they are a nice pistol to shoot and I really like the way they feel in the hand.
I'll echo TT's question above: What variant?

Yup. First handgun I intended to buy was a Glock, then I tried a Sig 226; immediately bought it (still have it) and have since added an X5 and a P210. Tried a P320 but didn't much like it - guess polymer pistols are just not for me.

I'll I know right now is it's a x5 p226 made in Germany. It was made for some contract which it did not get since it was missing the rail on the bottom. Im going back to the store today so I'll ask if they have more info. I know when these are gone they are gone. Had an amazing price!

I forgot to add the only difference between this a x5 is it does not have an adjustable trigger but everything else is the same. This is what I was told

Congrats. I pretty sure i know the variant you are talking about. The X-Five Short right? I think those are the best deals going. Maybe not an adjustable trigger but the same trigger as the X-Five Allround which is still fantastic. I had an Allround and it was a phenomenal shooter. I since went to a single action only variant but the all-round was very close.

Congrats...your gonna love both....pics up eh!!!!

I will post pics when I bring it home which should be soon. We have fast transfer approval times in Alberta.

If you have just bought an X-Five Short, clearly you will need an X-Five and an X-Six to complete the set;)

Congrats!

Then we can talk about X220's and wait for the X227 for the advanced collector set...

X5 is by far my favourite SAO pistol.

Enjoy it and shoot the heck out of it.

Jeez am I glad you bought a Sig. When I read your post title I figured you either bought a Glock or just woke up from a Coma. Not sure which would have been worse. Glad you are OK. :>)

Take Care
