Don't know whether it's true or not, but I was told that since last year both Timmies and McD's has changed suppliers of their ground coffee and now McD's have Timmies old supplier.

Does Rotten Ronnies serve tea? I drink earl grey from Timmies with two sugars. Im curious if Rotten Ronnies has the same? I don't do coffee.

Tea is the one thing that Rotten Ronnies does not have a proper procedure for preparing which to me is odd considering how they have such detailed procedures for everything else. They sell so little that they don't have a pot of it already brewed, instead you get the tea bag and the hot water, which would be fine if you didn't order cream with it like I do. They pour in the cream with the sugar unless you ask for it on the side. The result of this is that the cream latches onto the tea leaf and prevents a lot of flavor transfer. If ordering tea from them, insist hat the cream is 'on the side'.

Perhaps if they didn't screw tea up so badly they'd sell enough to justify keeping a pot at the ready. Build it and they will come.

I personally dont drink coffee, but my wife says McDonalds' makes good coffee, and that Tim Hortons puts a b***h additive in theirs, cause every time she drinks it, she turns into one. No comment.........

In my 40+ years I have tried a wide range of coffees, from Nescafe Instant to hand pressed in a classy Ethiopian restaurant and a bunch in between. It all tasted like burnt crap. I quit trying, you guys can have it.

Mcdonalds by a long shot. Tim Hoes , in their never ending quest to offer the least quality has sunk to the bottom quicker than a lead anchor. It is not just the coffee, but the donuts and sandwiches are now just gross. 20 years ago, I would have literally bytchslapped you if you had said anything negative about Tims........but they have just chipped away the quality of everything and rested on their laurels. They knew they had the loyalty of most and abused it. I now hate their products. Sad reality that money trumps everything these days. No more pride in the products they schlepp.
I'm getting that way, timmies is nothing like they were. After their fiasco with their employees breaks a couple of weeks ago I will avoid them as much as possible.

Used to go to tims religiously but there service and their coffee sucks now(never get the same tasting coffee twice). McD's all the way!!

I switch between the two all the time because they both get boring after a while...

Just got a big order in from Black Rifle CC, won't be buying coffee at fast food places unless it's an emergency now!

Mcdonalds went after coffee a few years back big time, and also went after a healthier image at the same time. They did their homework and the proof is in the brew.
It's possible that they upset the supply chain to some degree as a big player, but it's hard to imagine that a company as big as Tim Horton's couldn't resupply and make a decent cup of coffee. It's not that hard.

McDo's for me but I usually end up getting Timmies only because they're everywhere. I drink my coffee black and I find Timmies a bit 'acidic' for my taste. Plus Mickey D's just has better deals...dollar coffee's or you get 7 cups and the eight is free. If there weren't so many Timmies location I would go to Mickey D's always for coffee.

Timmys is not great coffee, not the worst, but not the god like status people make it out to be. Canadians are so fooled by advertising, that they feel they're betraying Canada by not drinking it daily lol.

McDonalds "Canada" has great coffee and even their cup design is better. McD's USA coffee is beyond awful and makes Army coffee seem good.

If you're in the USA and want good coffee, try Dunkin Donuts.

I was going to make a joke about Tim Horton's coffee being better than their food, but I'm not sure it is. I honestly can't think of a single redeeming quality that Tim Horton's has.

At home PC Dark Roast, outside Starbucks Venti Bold Black. I do like Starbucks as well as they treat their employees really well.

Side note, in the internet lore I read somewhere that Tim Hortons decided to change their blend when they got bought. Around the same time McDs started the McCafe and hit up Tim's producer and they were able to tweak the recipe. Also I don't personally know anyone who likes Tim's coffee without diluting it with sugar and cream. Drinking it black I found it had a weird taste to it.
Their card has a huge benefit as you get free coffee on your birthday and drink enough like 9 coffees you get anything from their menu free
