I sent in the recall notice response to TriggerTech and it appears that mine is part of the recall but I have experienced double taps and light strikes all of a sudden. The pull weight is set to 3 lbs. I mentioned my problem in the recall notice but all I got from TriggerTech was a form letter stating the following with no response to my problem. I am still trying to figure out why I am all of a sudden getting double taps. The occasional light strike I can live with but it sure is frustration during a competition. I have to say that I am very disappointed with TriggerTech for not even taking the time to respond to my questions. I guess that is what happens when you deal with a small company.

We could match the serial number you entered to our production records and the results are as follows:
Trigger 1: Your AR15 trigger with serial number B7C105 is NOT a carbide trigger and is NOT being recalled.

UPDATE:
If you are NOT interested in reading the entire thread, the problem was resolved. The Service Tech was very happy to help by sending me a replacement trigger. I am still using the replacement trigger as of (03-06-19) and I WOULD buy the same trigger again.

So send in another message, this time don't mention the recall. Sometimes you have to write very simple messages for technical support teams. For instance:

My Triggertech AR15 trigger is going into full auto on a regular basis. Serial number is B7C105. Please advise.

I had the opposite occur. Had an issue with the trigger, called, was told to send it in and it was promptly replaced. Couldn't be happier with the service, love the trigger.

This has been my experience as well. I was an early adopter and had a carbide trigger fail before the recall was out. In fact, that trigger was one of defective ones that caused the recall to come out. They replaced it no questions asked and sent me a %40 discount code the first time around. I used it to buy my third trigger from them. After my second trigger was replaced under the recall, they sent me another %20 off coupon, bought my 4th trigger then.

Your trigger might not be covered by the recall, but that's not the issue. Tell them it's defective and invoke the lifetime warranty. They'll take care of you.

I also had a issue with a trigger. I contacted Trigger Tech and it was exchanged. Their customer service was excellent.

My Triggertech "Fixed curved competition" was going full auto occasionally. I tried different rifles, different buffers and the issue persisted. My trigger was not under recall so I called Triggertech and sent it back, they testing it and have since mailed me a new one I should receive soon. The issue was hammer follow. The bolt effectively sends the hammer back after firing but it does not reset and instead comes back and strikes the firing pin again, and continues to do so until it eats the mag.

Try calling TriggerTech support, they should send you a form or even take the trigger back on the serial alone.

I had an issue with an adaptable ar, flat trigger. Mark at Trigger tech was quite helpful and sent me a replacement very promptly. Very happy with their service and support.

I too, would do this.

My trigger is the adjustable flat. It was doing double taps, cause the adjustment screw had worked itself loose. I had it on the lightest setting, so i tightened it & will be watching it

This is how mine started. I checked my adjustment screw and pull weight. It was the same but I tighten it up a little. According to their setup, you should be able to run the trigger at its lightest settings without any issues. I have sent it back. I am sure they will sort it out.

Turns out the trigger failed one of their tests that was NOT part of the recall. TriggerTech has sent a replacement trigger. Mark at TriggerTech was very helpful in sorting out the problem and making things right. I look forward to getting my trigger back!

I have 2 triggertech triggers and I'm not sure if they are affected. I can't even seem to find a serial number on them to know. Does anyone know where the serial number is on them? And no, it's not right on the side by the logo.
