I was given a few 22's and now what to do with them.

A friend of my Dad's who is in his mid 80's had a Remington Target Master, A Cooey 60 and 75 and an old 303 he was going to take to the RCMP for destruction..
They are now at my house but I don't really have a need for them because I have a Semi auto and a bolt action already so these three and the 303 I think will go
to a new home. I was just trying to figure a $$ value to put on them.

Not much of a loss if they where destroyed, give them away to some kid that is starting out, free to you free to someone else.
 
Check to see if there is a Junior Rifle Club in your area and donate the rifles to them. If not, ask around and see if any of your friends know of a young person that would be interested in them. If all else fails, sell them and give the money to a local charity in your friends fathers name. Good karma for everybody. I hate to see any useable firearm destroyed.
 
I'd like to know how many turned in guns ever actually end up in a smelter. A quick thumb war or game of rock,paper, scissors probably decides which member gets to take them home.
 
If you are taking them, regardless of what you are planning to do with them, give the old guy a couple hundred. It's the right thing to do because the type of society we live in is truely defined by how we treat our elders.
 
I'm looking for a cheap .22 for my kid, would be cutting down the stock so nothing nice, he's only 8 but I want him to have a comfortable rifle so he can learn on it.

Asking the value of something is a valid question, but we all know that Buying & Selling must all take place in the EE.

Who said I didn't pay for them? I just said that he was going to take them in to be destroyed, I didn't want that so I now have them.
