Your most inaccurate handgun...

Zastava M-57. Bought it brand new. Nice well made pistol, that fit OK. Lots of fun to shoot; lots of fire, noise and recoil! After 1000 rounds I was doing little better than I did when I first got it. It almost turned me off pistol shooting. I sold it to a guy who likes them and has a couple of t-33s already. I ask him how its shooting, and have not got a straight answer. I took the money and a bit more and bought a NZ 85; it and other pistols I have bought since hit the target just fine.

I still think it was me, and not the pistol.
I like the tt33, M57, and haven't shot them enough to say if I will get good, people say it takes some work to get good with them and I believe that is probably correct, if you watch Hickok 45 shoot the darn thing you would think it was a performance centre tuned Wheelgun! I like the look and feel of them, so I will keep trying!

It's demoralizing to realize just how much better than yourself Hickok 45 is.

Pretty much every one I've touched, beginning to think it's me not the guns. Kidding, my SR9 was always off, then I tweaked the rear sight and now it put rounds where I point it. Its cousins in .40 and .45 have been spot on right out of the box though.

My pietta single action, can't seem to get used to the "sights" and allways struggle with the grip. However when I can shoot it good it shoots really good.
I have the Pietta. 1873 in .357/.38sp, in .357 it is a chore to hold the grips and accuracy suffers, but with .38sp, it is a lot of fun to shoot and quite accurate!

How large are your hands?? I find the Glock 43 is so tiny, even my small hands don't get the most efficient pull on the trigger on it, are you having similar issues with the Sig?. The P239 for me is one of the most accurate pistols, mechanically they are very accurate.

Large hands...no room for my pinky finger on the grip. The trigger of the p239 is great, no complaints there. I have a 30 year old SIG p220 and the frame to slide fit is much better, maybe that's my issue???

I'm 1/4" MOA at 50 yards with any gun I shoot.

Dafuk? 1/4 MOA at 50 is 1/8". This makes no sense.

Hey you guys, this guy's a PHONY!!

The gun that made me look even worse than I am was my Smith & Wesson sd9ve, at ten yards I hit paper 3 out of ten rounds
my next gun was a Girsan MC-28 and boy did my target shooting improve. Very first clip I got 10 out of 10 in the black at 10 yards.

TT-33 with Norinco 7.62x25, 12"x12" groups at 7 yards. The barrel is pretty worn and pitted though.
Bought an NP 18 (FEG clone), was told by everyone that it would group minute of barn. I must be lucky because it'll do 2"x2" at 7m off hand.

I used to say it was my tt-33 because it seemed to have more muzzle flip than most of my other guns, but then I got into the habit of shooting my Ruger 44 magnum first and then the tokarev. Muzzle flip almost completely disappeared and accuracy was great.
NAA Sidewinder was terrible - couldn't hit the broad side of a barn unless you were within 10 feet! It is now gone!

make sure you practice trigger reset properly, ride that trigger well. I've taught enough people to shoot to know this is the attribute that gets most people on Glocks. Seriously, make it a priority for a month and you'll be good for life.

I have a brand new tp9sfx that has a -similar- trigger, and man I'm shooting like a pro with that right out of the box. I'll give the glock some more attention though, I want to like it, and there definitely is something off about it (I had a whole thread about it elsewhere, it does seem I'm not the only one that can't hit a broad side of a barn with them) ;)

Interesting question. All my handgun have decent accuracy but overall the least accurate is probably the TT33 but you can still shoot a fist sized group with it at 10 yards. I have never found the inherant accuracy of a handgun to be the issue. It is always me the shooter that limits it.
