Challenger when they are on sale. Score are pretty good. I presently have a dozen cases of Winchester Supertarget left that seems to break clays just fine. I try to shoot 7 1/2s if I can get them. They seem to be better in windy conditions but I coul dbe imagining things. You won't find the deals in BC that you will hear about in ON. If you can get a case for less than 80.00 taxes in, buy it.
Edit: You might find Black Goose on sale for cheap. Unless you really like cleaning your gun, avoid it. It is the dirtiest ammo I have ever shot.
I use Federal Top gun 7/8 OZ @1200 fps for pretty much all practice / training. Win AA Xtralite 1 oz @1180 for competition. Federal has rebate on now. Wnchester rebate starts sometime in April. Seems like best buy is through the club in bulk - 10 flats at a time. Doesn't last as long as you'd think.
I just purchased 10 flats of 12 gauge Kent Velocity 1 ounce loads for sporting clays, mild recoil, and they pattern well. For skeet, I reload my own 28 gauge and 410. I buy whatever 20 gauge I can get the best deal on, other than Winchester Super Target., and I use less 20 gauge than anything else.
I have been shooting Mirage T1 1ounce for quite a few years. I have been buying them on sale for around $65 on sale before taxes.
They break clays really well and have low recoil.
Whatever is cheapest- around here that is either Challenger or Winchester depending on the day. 1oz is my preference but sometimes it is 1 1/8oz. I'd also prefer #8, but I'll take 7.5 if that is what they have. I have never missed a target because of the shell in the chamber.
I and several friends have been using 1 oz. Kent Velocity target loads for a couple of years now, with absolutely no complaints.
Occasionally I also use their 24 gram loads.
Looks like we'll be switching to their new "Elite" target loads when they become available. Looking forward to trying their new 3/4 oz. 2-1/2" ga. loads as well.
