Wk ????? -C

WolNASCK - x

Wolverine North American Standard Calibre Kodiak - x (x being the model number for the different calibres, such as c, d, e, for .224, .260, 6.5 creedmoor, etc.)

I say make it the WK-Target Rifle or the WK-T Rifle.
Like most guns, you wouldn't have a name change for the calibre, like the Remington 700, it can be chambered in everything, but it'll always be the 700. This will be the WK-Target or WK-T, just offered in a variety of different calibres.

You could take a step back 100 years and do something like Wolverine-Kodiak Model 19

Sounds utterly plaid, I know, but that's the point. Kind of a heritage style name.

The more letters and numbers there are, the worse it is. It's already annoying to say the w-k-180-c. W-k-360-308-mark 1 is just silly. I liked the ATRS approach. Modern Hunter. Modern Varmint. Gets the point across without being wordy.

Nothing wrong with The WK Hunter. Make "WK" your "make" of all the rifles you and Kodiak partner up on. Then nice, easy, one to two word "models". Hunter. Big Bore. Varmint. Precision. Long Range.

Clean and concise.

X2

The simpler the better. Just give it a 30 cal designation

Well, “wolverine” and “kodiak” are kinda “Bush” names...

And the first rifle shares a number with a popular Cessna “Bush” plane, the c-180...

You could theme subsequent model numbers after increasingly bigger Bush planes, the 185, 206, 208, etc...

WK300-C (Calibre)

WK obvious.
300 denotes calibre range (you might do a WK200 series for .2X calibres) and model: "301, 302, etc"
C for Canadian 'cos we should be proud of who we are.

How do you feel about foregoing any caliber/number designation all together and name it the WK Bison after the the Provincial animal and the fact that its a calibre you can go out and do some hunting with and it will be NR?

Also like the idea of words like WK Hunter.

But for an alphanumeric designation it's about the '08 family of cartridge. So WK-08. Chambered .308, 7-08, 6.5-08, etc.
To me a .338-08 is .338federal as much as .35-06 is .35Whelen.

The AR16 was the 308 Stoner design... why not WK160-C?
