Wk ????? -C

I kind of like the name thing too. WK-Hunter, WK Sporter, that kind of thing. Also keeping with the Wolverine/Kodiak theme you could even give it and animal type name and keeping it Canadian.

For example:

WK-Lynx
WK - Timberwolf
WK- Grizzly

Something to that extent.

The AR16 was the 308 Stoner design... why not WK160-C?

Haven't been interested in all the new AR-180B builds lately but I would go for one of these.

If it's going to be a scaled up version of the 180, how about the WK180-XL?

or save the XL for a 50 BMG version.. :d

WK180-M for the midrange calibers like 308, WK180-L for the 300 win mag / 338 lapua range

^ That's not a bad idea, the "M" and "L" designations.

Or even keep the Canadian "C" in front of them and call them the WK360-CM and WK540-CL since as Wolverine said they are uniquely made receivers.

The more letters and numbers there are, the worse it is. It's already annoying to say the w-k-180-c. W-k-360-308-mark 1 is just silly. I liked the ATRS approach. Modern Hunter. Modern Varmint. Gets the point across without being wordy.

Nothing wrong with The WK Hunter. Make "WK" your "make" of all the rifles you and Kodiak partner up on. Then nice, easy, one to two word "models". Hunter. Big Bore. Varmint. Precision. Long Range.

Clean and concise.

X3 and with animal names

makes it sound like it's meant to be in the woods and not a fully semi war machine to wave on signs at moron marches

WK-180-H
H is for heavy (caliber)

I really hope that you focus on the x39 version first though.
Fits better with the 'affordable' theme.
I would strongly suggest shipping that version with an extra power hammer spring, as you're going to get a bunch of people having light strikes with surplus ammo.

It's a balancing act for you; on one hand having a "cool" mall cop approved letter/number combination which also taunts the RCMP/left or the animal name Bear/coyote or hunter type names which are less "intimidating". Personally, myself being right down the middle loving plastic/aluminum as much as I love wood will be of no help on the matter. ;)
