Removing live primer from factory ammo?

Let's pretend that that a handloader seated a primer upside down, and in a bored unthinking moment realized that he had both a primer with handle on it and a dental pick that looked tailor made for seeing how solid the anvil was actually attached. While we're pretending; let's pretend that what amounted to a light touch of sharp steel resulted in a really cool bang sound.


*lets also pretend that that loader will never do anything else dumb again. It's a sure bet he'll never do that particular dumb thing again.

I thought yesterday one about reloading 357 was kinda dumb. Never bothered to research how to, and didn't know about sizing.

This reminds me of the mechanic at a shop, that decided to use cutting torches to cut the brackets off his frame to put a 4 link setup and forgot to remove the gas tank and lines.

He survived but got burnt pretty bad. I don't know why people think they feel the need to share how to do stuff stupid.

He was lucky I know of two here that got killed years ago from leaky gas tanks and welding/ cutting under vehicles

The definition of insanity is trying the same thing over and over expecting different results.

The application here is that it may never be tried again as the results may preclude future results.

The bad dream syndrome is alive but not well so go have a good rest and give it a break before someone else experiments on your behalf.

PS . . . you may not learn of the results!

Stupid is as stupid does . . . the Science of Stupid . . . and as previous suggested "Dumbest reloading thread ever....!!!!!
 
What's the best way for me to change tires on my car... oh, but I won't slow down under 60 miles per hour... I have to keep moving... and I won't accept doing it on a tow truck or trailer, the car has to keep driving on its own.

I give you credit for having the courage to ask, and saving yourself or others around you harm. Asking will prevent others who read this from trying. it is a public service. Ignore the advise that can get you hurt. reminds me of the people watching a potential suicide on a roof top, chanting 'jump'.
