Great gun, had one for years, just passed it on to a friend. Thousands of rounds through it, no issue, just be prepared for the noise and the fire breathing dragon that all short barrel rifles become.

Who would buy one of these sloppy commie turds when you can get a M&P Sport II for the same price?

exactly what i was thinking,,a Norinco at S&W prices, why would anybody buy a chinese copy, unless S&W MP are low stock in the country, then i can see it,the Norincos are nowhere near as bad as some people say.they actually run pretty good and last a long time, but it's still chinese made.

M&P sporter has a 10.5 inch barrel now?

I was thinking the same thing... I'm surprised the pressure from the M&P pricing hasn't caused the Norinco prices to drop under $600.

I'll pass on these.
it wont, others have gone away from the Chinese guns as they can buy lower end American guns for the same money. The low pricing we are seeing from all American made ar-15s will clear up eventually.

ArmaLite sold its rights to the AR-15 to Colt, not S&W, so they're a 'Copy' too :p (I think) I can understand on the price, as it IS made in China, $600 would be a sweet MSRP- these are Great AR's, I have 2 Norinco's, never one glitch in either with 1000's through..so Mehh, unless you own one or shot one.... there's really no issue on a Norinco or DA AR, lots of Torture test vids online as well, but the fact is, it is made in China, Not USA. but so is lots of other items you use/buy everyday. For a complete 10.5", its still pretty fair. Regarding the Bayonet- I had a set up like this on a 10.5 previously, the bayonet slide over the 'Commando' style flash hider I had, like in the pic, but was a bit shorter. Think the rifle pictured here is a 11.5" *Pic is just a grab from online-

I owned one and it performed as good as any other rifle if not better than 4 X95s, ARs even a RRA AR15.

Btw look up “NORINCO”, is one of the world leading arms manufacturers ie. missle /artillery systems, tanks, jets etc

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norinco

It may be a knock off BUT the Chinese military is nothing to sneeze at, I sure hope we are NOT looking down the barrel of anything made by Norinco at any time in this day and age...

ive handled both, and the m&p is a great rifle, but the norinco, feels like a proper m4

both are good
