Crumlin 2018 Multigun Dates June 3 / July 15

Just to further clarify, you can use a PCC (cx4) for rifle portions of stages as long as your using a pistol for pistol portions?

I think he said your rifle must be an actual rifle caliber.

Like .223 for example.

2. -- no pistol caliber for the rifle parts of the COF

Didn't mean too overcomplicate it :/. It sounds like as long as we have 3 guns were ok. Ex. PCC (as rifle), shotgun and pistol. I saw a few setups like this last year without issue.

I think something is being lost in translation here.
I think you need to use a rifle for the rifle parts...

Having said that, I have a rifle chambered in 22lr.
That should be ok, right Mr cchaddock?

This topic does leave room for confusion and I hope I'm not making it worse, my apologies cchaddock..please correct me if I'm wrong.

PCC can't be used for rifle cof IF your using the PCC for pistol cof because you'd technically only be using 2 guns to complete the 3 courses of fire.

PCCs have been used for rifle course of fire at Galt, Guelph and even Crumlin just last year so I'm assuming/hoping that hasn't changed if your using pistol for pistol cof. I personally know someone signed up for this match that uses a 3gun PCC (as rifle) setup.

as long as you have 3 guns, rifle for rifle (.22/.223.308 or pistol caliber carbine if you are using a pistol) PCC or Pistol and a shotgun. This is not a 2 gun event, its a 3 gun event, as long as you're using 3 guns IDGAS. That is all.

Thanks for the clarification, looking forward to the event!

Okay i’m Really confused now. Does this mean I have to go buy a PCC now for this match? And where the heck do you find holsters for PCC’s?

Whatever happened to straight up 3 Gun matches using . 223, 9mm and 12 gauge we use to shoot in the good ole days...like last year?

Are you guys going to make fun of me if I show up and try and shoot the match with my old school dinosaur 3 Gun gear?

PCC isn't necessary, just bring the gear mentioned in the 2nd paragraph of your last post and your good to go.

no need to be confused. The holster for your PCC will be down your dominant pant leg (chamber flag in of course). and while u r running the COF u have to say out loud "im a pirate im a pirate..etc" over and over again until unload and show clear command.
hint: dont use a vertical grip on your PCC cause it may look like a big bonner down your pants.
