$180 seems a bit high. I ordered mine in March from Brownells with a set of Warne Maxima QD rings and it cost me $194.75 cdn. to my door. I used a $15 off coupon though and didn’t get nailed for any fees.

I just noticed the rail in the newsletter I get from Tenda. Seems a good price for anyone looking and not wanting to roll the dice with the CBSA.

First range trip with the new McMillan on the GSR 5.56. Fired nine 5 shot groups with the 73gr Hornady ELD , average was 1.01" @ 100 yards. Some real promising combos to further explore and tune

Where did you get that muzzle cap?

It came with the rifle. A muzzle brake was installed, but I'm not a fan, so I took it off an replaced with the included cap.

I didn't have a laminate, I had a synthetic stock, which made for a very light rifle. I was worried that the Mac was going to be a bit heavier as most of the ones I have are not lightweights but these new stocks are fricking light, doesn't seem much more than a tupperware stock. I didn't bed it yet, not even sure if I'm going to now, the Mac fits like a glove.

How's the cheek weld on with the vortex? I am thinking of running the same set up with the same scope.

It's my buddy's rifle. It's ok, I prefer the lower mounting of my 40mm Leupold in medium Warnes. Have to use the Highs with the 44mm Viper
