I'm interested to see how your build turns out - I've got a x47 build in progress. I'm just waiting for my chassis to get cut and I'll be good to go but the more info on the system the better. If you could keep everybody in the loop (especially with regards to load development, mag reliability, parts selection etc) as your build progresses that would definitely be appreciated!

We are advised that the ESS with Deadline inlet is available March 27th, next Tuesday! We will feature a build on that as well.

Thanks! I'll weigh it on the scale when I get home but I'd say not much more than 10 lbs - it's noticeably lighter than my heavy barrel XCR-M (which is set up as a DMR and admittedly a pig). Overall I'm very happy with the weight - I think it'll be a nice balance for a rifle that will do double duty as a LR hunting rig and also some casual fullbore/PRS shooting.

Just keep an eye on wiggle in the chassis.. might need a dab of bedding in the lug area to keep it all nice and solid.
