No, probably/no, little late for that, trying to avoid that from happening.

I for what I assumed would be obvious reasons can't discuss the whys and hows too much.

I guarantee it's stolen, but I don't know from who or where. It's a long way off but at some point it will have to be chopped if I can't find an owner. Probably in the Grand Prairie area, if anyone knows someone who lost one and can give me the serial number it would mean eventually it can go home.

No auctions with firearms in Canada. They get crushed at the local welding shop under the hydraulic press, scope and all.
