Announcing: Stag Arms Stag-10 CDN Rifle - 6.5CM - Non-Restricted Canada

I eagerly await your comparison review on this rifle v the 102 complete with range reports to back up up your statements. You do have a 102, don't you?

I eagerly await your explanation on why someone needs to own something to know it's a steaming pile of ####. You do know you can tell fire is hot without touching it don't you?

I suspect it will force BCL to lower their prices on the receivers and perhaps finished rifles, but when it boils down to it, the receiver is just a case. The 'vast superiority' you are referring to? Maybe compatibility of Armalite v. dPMS design or QC? Maybe they have an edge/advantage, but I don't see it as 'vastly superior' - that's just hype.
A suitably accurate and reliable AR-10 could be made with either Stag's or BCL's offering just as the same can be said with the AR-15.
If guys have BCL stuff, they are get burned a bit for being early adopters and driving the market interest and demand that exists in the first place for such semi autos to thrive in.

I get the hype to dump BCL and jump on the latest and greatest, that's typical CGN - but it's not based on anything really rational.

And if said case is out of spec or the internal components are out of spec junk it won't run so good, ergo "vastly superior". I am floored that with the endless threads on their junk anyone here is foolish enough to still buy their stuff.

Edit: in case of the 102 i suppose it had the market cormered so i can understamd that one, and I also completely understand why they are dumping them now. But their ar15s... no.

I have 2 bcl 102s and I think they're done. The price isn't a big difference and I have no doubts the quality will be better and more compatibility for parts. Even the furniture that comes standard is much better than what comes on the bcl. Bcl would have to drop their price to be competitive.

And why would BCL do that? They should follow the CGN trend, most of the new EE listings are at the same price as they were purchased, with a few exceptions, of course.

EE - full of buyer's remorse.

Quite a level-headed take on the situation.

As soon as the 20" Barrels are ready, we will have Stag-10 CDN 308 rifles. To those asking if 18" barrels from Stag are actually 18", they are. Until the FRT was finalized, we weren't making barrels for NR.

If you are making the barrels (what it sounds like by your post) how about a light profile 18.5" in 308 for us hunters to keep the weight down?

Thanks arms east!!! this is amazing.... so pumped. I will hold off for 308, was there a eta on 20" 308? I did read every page but must have missed it.
as long as the bcg and bbl are good this should be a winner at this price.
so so so so so glad I sold my bcl 102 2 months after buying it. my only regret was dumping $1000 in ammo tso to speak to "find the ammo it liked"
which was NOTHING. sorry to the guys trying to sell theirs now.
