Stag 10 build and range review

So the complete upper lower weighs about 6 1/2 lbs.
What would be the one thing that would give the biggest weight savings, to change out.

BCG maybe?

It’s 9 lbs with no optic.

You only save 6 ounces with a titanium BCG. Then you need an adjustable gas block. So that will cost $400+ to save 6 oz.

A minimalist stock would be the best. A PRS stock weights 27 oz. The Battlelink minimalist stock weighs 6 oz. The BMS costs $50 USD.

I'm looking for a "minimalist approach" and would like to land in that same range.

Here's my next lightweight build. You could substitute the ACOG for a Vortex 2.5-10x44 or Razor HD 3-15x42 for an extra 11 ounces. Brings you under 8lbs still.

I’m not looking to make this into a precision rifle necessary, I have other rifles for that, in that caliber already. What I want is basically a Smart car with a Hayabusa engine in it. That would make me happy.
