what cartridges and barrels do you use?
stock/factory or do you have some custom?
what made you decide on the length's?
did you get a third party stock? what and why?

I have a 28" matte SS T/C Pro Hunter in 7mm-08 and a 15" Blued .45-70. Actually forgot I had them as they'd been stored at my cousins place as my brother had been working on them (bought them as parts and they had no screws) until he took his life 4 years go, then it dawned on me. so now I'm working on getting them back now.

I ask all the above as there are a few cartridges I want to get and want to have a custom stock made for an idea in my head.
- 6.5 Grendel
- 6.5 Greedmoor
- .358 Winchester
- 12ga rifled slug barrel
- 20ga rifled slug barrel

where did you buy all your T/C equipment from? where do you turn when you need bits n pieces or accessories? there is a severe lack of access to T/C's single shot platforms here in Canada. :(

The 8X63 swede barrel was a 30/06 barrel and Ron Smith did the rebore/chamber (with my reamer). The 7.62X54r barrel was a 308marlin that I had Epps ream to 7.62X54r.
And Mike Bellm for hinge pins and small parts. It just takes $$$'s and you can get what you want.

Pro Hunter:
22-250
7mm Rem Mag, Factory taper Encore barrel, braked
50 cal ML

Contender:
223 Rem
7-30 Waters

Bellm for all the mechanical goodies and Tony's Stocks for all the woodwork

I've only shot 2 black bears with my Contender carbines first was with a 21" factory tapered barrel in 30-30 this barrel is now rechambered to 308Bellm second with my 21" barrel in 375JDJ.

I've shot appr 10 deer with the Contenders and 1 deer with the Prohunter in 30-06

is there anyone that makes synthetic stocks for the T/C Encore/Pro Hunter platforms?

I like wood...but cause I'm clumsy and forgetful, I want to avoid ruining wood/laminate stocks with using the rifle on the wetcoast. :p
