Think about what Bill C-262 means, just as it relates to hunting. All laws will have to be in line with UNDRIP, and all laws that may affect any UNDRIP rights will require consultation before being passed.

The problem is that Pierre Trudeau, that communist POS entrenched aboriginal rights in the Constitution. So until that changes Canada is hooped. Note that he specifically left out property rights for the average Joe.

And it will NEVER be enough for aboriginal people. Case in point, within 10 years of the Nisga treaty there have been papers written about how the initial payment of $196,000,000 was not enough, how the +2000 square kilometres is too small of a territory etc etc. There are also some aboriginal doctors who are doing research on “trans-generational trauma”- i.e. residential schools caused genetic alterations that have been passed down, thereby causing all sorts of problems. Translation- kids and grandkids and great grandchildren need compensation too!
