WK180-C *unrestricted for how long?

Newbie here,

considering putting a deposit down on a wk180-c.

Wondering your thoughts on how permanent the unrestricted status of this rifle is.

I realize anything can change here in Canada, just looking for some advise before I drop a grand on a gun I can't take into the backcountry. I'm just starting my collection and am really only interested in non-restricted at the moment. I feel the day is coming when all black rifles will be restricted when c71 passes. But then hey, what do I know...

its a gamble every time you buy a firearm in Canada when the Liberals are in power. Buy it, and enjoy it while you can. The world could end tomorrow.... but that won't stop me. They won, if you are deterred by their threats.
 
The RCMP have classified the wk on technical specifications, and the current government in power says that they will respect RCMP classification.

Also don't let them win, not buying a gun because it *may* go prohibited means that there is one less gun in legal hands to enjoy.
 
Somthing smells fishy..

If you think its worth it why not? Buy at your own risk. If C71 passes the WK180c wont be the only NR affected.
 
Someday a comet may wipe out all life on Earth too. Therefore buy a WK180c and enjoy it before the comet hits the earth.
 
Go for it! I also recommend getting your RPAL and getting into restricted guns. Every time someone (legally) buys a restricted a liberal crys....
