Cz shadow 2 is this ok?

Bought brand new shadow 2 from a dealer, I noticed some marks on the slide. Is this normal for a CZ?

I would contact the dealer with the pics and see if you can swap it if he has another. They are not a cheap gun and I would be disappointed if it was mine. I just bought a used one off the E.E that I am still waiting for and in the pics that the seller provided my slide is not pitted at all like yours .

Yeah I already sent them an email yesterday toghether with the pics, Im waiting for their reply.

Mine doesn't have that pitting. If the dealer refuses to help, contact Wolverine, they are the CZ warranty center for canada.

It really sucks when you get something like this out of the box.

Not necessarily cosmetic. Could be pitted all the way through the metal thereby weakening it.

Looks like tiny cosmetic flaws that does no harm. If it was a $300.00 Norinco, meh but not acceptable on a BNIB Shadow II.

I'm not really a stickler for pristine finishes on my guns. But that does look fairly bad. The slide is supposed to be the nicely finished part, it is milled. Whereas the frame is cast, usually that's more often flawed.

Immaterial blemishes. There is no perfect. Don't ship it back, its still a great auto. Ask for a 5% discount.

I would accept it if it were appropriately discounted as a factory second, but it is definitely not acceptable at the full retail price.
