Does this wear look normal? This is maybe using the charging handle 100 times or less. Even kept that area well greased with molybdenum disulfide grease (automatefett)

This whole thing has turned into a total mess. When this started we had to put up with this kind of crap because there was no other options. Now there are options that can be at your door in a week or 2. I cannot fathom why anyone would still want this junk. TNA has been great and I will continue to support them but this is crazy.

Which other non restricted AR15 pattern rifles that are as parts compatible as the SLR are available right now?

It is.

I have a feeling the metal itself is wearing though.

Looks like mine is cut like that so the charging handle returns easier. What type of charging handle are you using ? Seems tighter than mine.

ATRS sporter

And before you say they’re not available... is the SLR ‘really’ readily available?

Lowers are almost complete with the ATRS and the SS uppers are beginning production shortly. Updates have been plentiful, timelines have been hit, and there is no reason to believe before the years end I’ll have my ATRS while many still wait for their SLR

Aaaand there wasn't a long wait for production on the ATRS? And despite the grand on receiver sets, you'd have to get silly silly on your SLR build to hit the price point of the ATRS.

Well, you're wrong. I don't know why you would say that a rifle is available, and ready to be delivered to your door in a week or two when it is still in early production, with no units ready to be shipped. The SLR is more available than the ATRS MS. I have my SLR. Not everyone does, but some do. No one has a MS yet, to my knowledge. You're also just taking their word for it that production timelines have been hit. We took MDIs word for it, and look what happened. Not saying that the same thing will happen with ATRS; it likely won't, but it's best to not count your chickens before they hatch.

I don't really want to clutter TNAs thread up anymore with junk about competitor's products, so I'm going to leave it at that.
