Got my pet wolverine from SFRC 10 mins after they said they where coming in!!!!! I haven't had time to get out to shoot it yet but almost got the paint wore off playing with it LOL. Put in a ACT trigger. just comes in at 4.5 #'s with lighter hammer spring Stock was about as heavy as my cat creep was horrendous. Grip screw mod to take up a lot of the creep. Only had to finish tapping the grip screw hole all the way through Going to do the ".50 cent AR15 trigger job" when I get more time. I did this hole set up on my BCL build with a BCM trigger It IS CRISP SHORT AND BRAKES VERY NICE 4 3/4 #'s WITH JUST A SMIG OF CREEP LIKE 1/2 A MIL!! http://www.junkyardgenius.com/firearms/ar-15/ar08.html

MOE stock ,IMI Defense shaved grip, magdump.ca 17" handguard till I can get another BCM.

Function check with practice rounds.

- Magpul gen2 5/30 feed good just drops free held horizontal
- Hera same as Magpul
- MFT no drop free easy to seat hard as F*@k in AR
- ASC aluminum drop free and feed good after I replaced the followers with Magpul, OEM where pure garbage.
- C Products Defence feed and drop easy.

I had thought most aftermarket handguards would not fit on this rifle. How much clearance do you have on the gas block and how is the handguard attaching to the rifle?

Have not compared the dimensions with the ones John posted for the 180C handguard yet.... will have to search it out in one of his threads.

Went on easy. The clearance is good all around just barely touches at 11 o'clock looking down the muzzle less pressure then the OEM it is a cheap handguard but like I said just waiting to get another 15 in. BCM like my AR that is one solid handguard
 
Oh, and for those who might be considering an Ace or another fixed stock, I was a bit concerned that the LOP on this one might be a bit long, but (for me, at least) it's actually pretty much perfect. I did have to mount the optic all the way to the rear to get a proper sight picture, however.

I debated going that route myself, as I have a set of Brownells retro green A1 furniture waiting for a future build, and actually mounted the A1 stock.... but with the stock adapter I thought the stock looked a bit odd, and I thought the carry handle looked a bit small on the bulkier 180 receiver. It is growing on me though.... I may switch mine back to something similar to yours at some point.

I didn't take a pic of mine with the stock in place, but I did with the carry handle and my current stock....

 
I'm trying to like this rifle but damn I have a hard time getting over the look of it.

You guys are helping, lots of nice ideas.

Still don't understand the slanted handguard tho, really hate this choice/look. Added to the square bulky rear... But I guess it will take on me over time. Especially with the positive reviews and the oh so worthy NR statu.

Pretty happy so far, good little blaster. Planning on a new trigger & muzzle device and call it done.
At around the 400 round count. Zero issues so far, mostly feeding it Winchester .223 fmj 55gr
