BCL 102 thoughts

I have OD green BCL 102 that I ordered in December. As a former member of the Canadian Forces I was excited to get a non-restricted AR platform.

During break-in the rifle worked flawlessly and the fit and finish on mine is excellent. I must stress the green finish on mine is flawless so I now find myself babying this sweet beauty.

I added a POF roller cam pin and this smoothed out the action greatly. I also threw in JP spring and Colt buffer.

My XCR pistol mags work flawlessly and drop right out.

My only complaint about the rifle is lack of a manual and official specifications.

Lastly, Ryan at SFRC is a standup guy. One of the best in the biz. Bringing a new product to market is a monumental task and this guy has worked his ass off on this project.
 
I just received mine this morning in black. I noticed however there are no mags or even an instruction manual. Did I get screwed over by the store?

From the factory it doesn't come with any mags. Some of the vendors were sending them out with a mixed bag of different brand mags. Mine came with a magpul 5/10 pmag. The manual doesn't come with the rifle or at least it didn't when i got mine. You have to download the pdf and honestly it doesn't give any information that you wouldn't already know if you have basic knowledge of the AR platform... so no you didn't get screwed
 
How dirty was yours? I know they test fire each weapon after assembly but the carbon on the bolt reminds me of firing 60 blanks through the C7.

...Reminds me of a local big box store several years ago that brought in the beautiful Miroku Winchester model 71, and didn't sell ammo OR reloading stuff for them (.348 Win).
Like selling a nice car without a gas tank.....looks nice but doesn't do anything.

Hence why I was asking. Every firearm I've purchased has come with at least one mag. Now I'm trying to find some that'll work. Ordered two XCR 308 pistol mags, looks like another week till I can actually fire it.

Where did you order from? SFRC website makes it sound like they come with one magazine. Blame your retailer.
