RCMP to be held accountable for Parliamentary Violations

Regardless of the outcome, the fact that Mr. Motz is taking the fight back to them and making a point of what transpired with over stepping their boundaries is a big plus and a small win! Especially with the current climate around bans etc.

Any way you slice it, stepping outside the boundaries of the approved, said process is never taken lightly, regardless of whether a person supports firearms ownership or not.

Reminding the powers that be and in a way the public that there is still a process in place and rules to follow, not just for us, but them as well. The timing is great as far as i'm concerned. Maybe it will even get a bit of media attention.

I don't trust them as far as I can throw them and I will never call for their assistance if I ever find myself in an altercation with criminals on my property.

POLICE,....The largest gang in the world.

You might be surprised that we don’t want to hear from some folks.

I fully respect your decision not to call upon us.

To further avoid us, I’d recommend obeying the law, as most interactions are somewhat voluntary.

We need cops as much as they need us tax payers to pay for their existence, I only wish that cops treated us legal firearm owners with less prejudice and paid more attention
chasing gangs and seizing their illegal firearms and thus reducing firearm related incidents which somehow always hit law abiding owners the hardest way.

The cop who gave advice to this guy who distrusts police told him to stay away from committing any illegal things, so if he lives somewhere in middle of no where and shoots his good old hunting rifle on his private range he is all legal and safe, however, if he takes out his good old 44 magnum revolver out to shoot it at the same private range he is now in violation of laws and will be persecuted as a criminal (if caught in wrong doing of course). And so Mr John Doe, father of 4, good husband, hard working farmer who never used drugs, doesn't smoke or drink, never stole anything in his whole life, becomes a criminal, loses all his firearms and ends up in prison (unless he pays his violation fines)...and ends up looked upon, treated and despised by cops as a criminal.

In my life time I have met some cops that I would jump in fire to help them and put my life in line for them. And some who were nothing but crooks disguised in blue uniform who look upon all people as if they were nothing but worthless cattle.
Fortunately, bad cops were just a few comparing to professional and polite majority, what can we say, bad apples can happen once in a while.
Full support for our boys and women wearing blue, be always careful and let good luck follows you on your path of just cause :)

Anton520b. I would never encourage anyone to commit an offence. Shooting a .44 handgun on ones own private land would be an offence. So don’t do it.

It’s silly, in my opinion, but it’s the law.

Personally, if I attended this ficticous call I would use it as an opertinity to educate someone on firearms laws. Without another offence having occurred I would advise the offender and attempt to close a gap between Police and the community.

Don’t paint us all with the same brush.

I’ve often taken on my peers in firearms debate. Sometimes it gets ugly and I feel like I’m the only one on the side of freedoms for responsible gun owners. I fight it for myself and for you guys!

For all the Police critics on here......MP Motz is a former / retired Police Officer.
So be careful painting all officers with the same brush....High Ranking Police Executive / Politicians are often driven to different opinions than rank and file working Police Officers (whom are often pro gun / anti criminal),
