Would you shoot a sasquatch?

If you saw a sasquatch, would you shoot it?

Being a man of science, I think I would. You can't describe a new species without a specimen, thus I feel like it would be my duty, for science... It would really help if it was bear season, because I wouldn't want to shoot a sasquatch only to realize I just poached a black bear...

So what say you? Would you pull the trigger? Why or why not?

If he cant do it what makes you think your gun will be able to do it?

If threating my families safety of course. Otherwise some humongous bipedal creature is not hiding anywhere it cannot be located again. Besides what do you have against andre the giant?

Too cute LOL

Isn't that a picture of Todd Standing or his Sasquatch?

I hear what you're saying, but, I think I would hesitate at the moment of truth. If it were someone staging a hoax, well, I'd rather not be Bubba's new roommate.

A guy near Cranbrook got this on his game cam 2 in the morning 30k up a logging road...

No way I could pull the trigger on something I did not recognize.

For the sake of discussion, let's assume they exist, but in very small numbers.

I wouldn't shoot one. To me, it doesn't matter if they have the same intelligence as humans, sentient or if it's just the neighbors kid in a gorilla suit. I simply would not want to contribute to the extinction of one of the rarest species on earth.

^^^^ This , Nor would I , --- for the same reasons stated above .

But think of the conservation movement that would happen if you could prove they exist... Would #### the logging industry mind you... It would make that owl look like a stinky rat...

I'll be the odd man out... I'd drop the hammer, no problem. The only way to prove they exist is to put a body on a slab. I don't think I'll ever have to worry about it though, because I think it's all myth.
