What cantilever mount are you using on your Stag-10 (or BCL, etc.)

Ordered a Viper HS-T 4-16x with 44mm objective for my Stag 10 today and of course it needs a mounting setup too. Yes individual rings will work with the length of the receiver but I am choosing to use a one-piece. I have a Burris PEPR on my AR-15 and have been happy with that. I'm open to ordering another again but considering my options. Don't need quick-release and weight isn't a huge concern, though generally lighter is nicer. Brownells has their house model on sale for 1/2 price ($60 down from $120). Price is nice but I definitely don't need something that inexpensive.

Thinking about Vortex Extended or Midwest Industries as well, though the MI is nearly 1/8" taller (for 56mm obj.).

Probably not looking to spend over $300 but I will consider it if the other specs look good. What do you like?

I prefer the clamp style mount on the ADM models. I have 3 different ADM mounts and while I don’t need the quick detach feature it is nice to have, but the real benefit to me is knowing my screws aren’t backing out when it counts. I had a vortex mount many years ago and found no matter how tight I got that little screw it would still loosen on a measly 223. With the adm’s the lever locks in place and is also adjustable for tightness.
I’m not sure what the pricing on the other ones you listed, but the ADM’s are usually around 200-220 which I think is huge value.

Once I decide on what optic I want I'll probably go with Geissele just like my AR. Was on sale on Brownells for $250 USD earlier this year, way cheaper than buying here.

Thanks for that. To be honest I've always been turned off by vertical ring screws, and as such never really considered that style of mount. I don't know if that's justified, it just seems like it would be harder to maintain scope orientation as you're tightening everything down. I'll do some reading on the ADM.

I've have one-piece mounts from Geissele, Nightforce, Badger Ordnance , ADM, Warne and Seekins Precision. If $$$ is a factor the Seekins MXM mounts are very tough to beat. 7075 aluminum just like the Geissele, center lug machined directly into the bottom similar to the Geissele with rings that are a little wider. I love the Geissele mounts but the Seekins are $150 less. If you want to go QD have a look at the ADM Delta mounts. The the rings aren't vertically split and are more substantial than the RECON line of mounts. They were developed specifically for use on the SCAR/AR10 platform.

Should contact Tom at Go Big Tactical I was in the same position looking for mounting options and he patiently guide me through and help me found what exactly I need at great prices too.

I've got mostly ADM cantilever mounts on my rifles. I also have the Burris Pepr on a couple uppers and didn't feel the need to spend a lot for my Stag10 so went with another Pepr mount. They were on sale on Amazon not too long ago and they pop up on the EE every so often.
