Stag 10 wont pivot open

I don't know why my phone posted postal code haha, but it seems the end of the BCG isn't all the way forward, check that and the charging handle might be not latched properly, I know many have said that before, it's hitting on the buffer somewhere maybe you need to loosen your buffer tube out slightly

Bolt carrier group is hitting on the tube buffer is in.
Loosen your castle but off, then unscrew your buffer tube,a small bit.
It has to hold that pin in place.

If you don’t have a proper wrench to remove castle nut, you can use a punch or a screw driver and give it a whack with a small hammer.
You may get a scratch on your buffer tube, if that bothers you.

Can you push the buffer in slightly and close?

I assume it was shipped to you closed and you are experiencing this after you opened it?

I know my bolt was not locking cleanly when I first got the rifle. I'd need to tap the forward assist firmly if rode the charging handle and not let the bolt slide forward under full spring compression. When assembling my rifle, my BCG would stick out a 1/8-1/16" proud of the back of the upper reciever and I had to slap the back of the BCG to get the bolt to lock up and be able to close the upper/lower receivers. Not saying that's the problem you have...

Worst case, remove pivot pin, #### hammer, set safety, slide upper onto lower receiver, push pivot and takedown pins closed.

I had similar experience with my first build, I think it was the eithe the buffer spring was very stiff or the BCG was doing what you said. Both came with the set.
My second build, using Brownells Soeing and BCG wasn’t as stiff.

He can't do that. It's a carbine tube, it won't be straight. If he goes back a full turn, he won't have enough tube left to hold the buffer retainer in place.

Take 2 pictures with lots of light like this one. One with the buffer in, and one with it out. While the buffer is out, try pivoting the upper back into place. To take the buffer out, push down on the retainer and it'll come out. be careful, it's under tension

Is it me or in the video, it looks like half the BCG has already cleared the buffer. Looking at my rifle, for it to be in that position, could the rear locking lug of the upper receiver be making contact with the takedown pin or the side walls of the lower receiver?

That’s what I thought as well.
Looks as if the pin is not completely out.

No, I'd bet the bolt carrier is hitting the top of the buffer.
