Split belly ones are good for the man cave couch or coffee table but the closed ones look better as wall hangers.IMO.

Did you do that yourself? I am going to get my first called in dog, that I successfully shoot, tanned. Defiantly at trophy being how hard they are to get. For some....

very nice do you find you have better hunts in the morning or the afternoon thanks for your time lbo

This would depend on location/farms and what is happening at those locations (vehicle/farm traffic times/wind etc...) odds would be pretty much the same if you setup properly. Lately I have been doing mostly morning hunts so it would stand to reason most of my luck comes from the morning but both work.....

I like morning hunts better because if I want, I can do more than 1 stand if I have the time and can be home before my wife/family even wakes up................... and usually afternoon stands/time only allows me to do 1 stand then rushing home for dinner

Both....... I always turn on and keep my caller and decoy running throughout the set.....
Once I am setup, the ecaller and decoy get turned on and I let the ecaller play a dying rabbit sound on low, really low volume so I can barely hear it from 50 yds away.... then I scream out with my mouth calls for about 30-60 seconds, then I go quiet for about a minute but keep the ecaller playing..... I repeat that process until I am tired with the mouth calls at which point I start to crank up my ecaller....
So basically, leave the ecaller on all the time on low and scream out with mouth calls until I get tired or coyote shows up
The idea of leaving the ecaller/decoy on all the time is if a coyote does show up, I will stop calling and ideally the coyote will hear that little dying rabbit sound coming from that spinning thing/decoy and not notice me getting ready for the shot :) ....
