6.5 creedmoor bullets

I use 139 gr scenars for target and 129 LRAB for deer.I have found that the scenars are about the cheapest and shoot very good in my rifle.I used to use the 140 berger vld target in it but tried the scenars they, shot a little better out to 1200 yards and about $15 cheaper per 100
 
1:8 twist. H4350 with 140gr and 142gr SMK is my choice so far. Been working on the 147gr Hornady but jury is still out.

Hmm, never thought about trying the Lapua Scenar 139 or 144 gr. Might be worth a shot (or two).

this shoots well for me and I've had no issues pushing it out past 900 yards so far. Might try to speed them up a little bit since I don't have any pressure signs at all even though this is listed as a max load in some books.
 
Working with a friends Bergara rifle, I was able to achieve well under 1/2moa today with the 130gr ELDM, in front of R-17. Not quite what my Tikka does with the 130gr Gamechanger, but close.
 
I’m soon going to be reloading for a 6mm creedmoor 26’’ 5R 1-8 and 6.5 creedmoor stock tikka ctr 24’’going to start off with 105 and 140 Berger hybrids hoping to use H4350. Would be curious to know if anybody has any thoughts or better yet experience with something close to these. Groups are one thing ES and SD are probably more important for what I want to do anyhow.

what brand of primer someone used in their load, should mean nothing to you. Like Stubblejumpeer, I use the F210M primer with my RL17 130gr SGK load that shoots half moa. It's not the primer. Asking him what brand of brass he uses would be higher up the ladder of relative importance than what primer. A good shooting load can be recreated with any primer, the charge weight would need to be slightly adjusted for each different primer. I've shot good groups with russian Dominion primers and run of the mill WLR / 9.5M. There's no magic in a 210M, I may switch to CCI200 for the main reason that they packaging takes up way less space on my shelf :)
 
It means a LOT to me as the Primer is Part of the whole Program - so to say it means Nothing is a BIT out there ! I only wanted to know to compare to what i was using . As far as a ANY primer can be made to shoot a load as good as any other primer is simply UNTRUE ! Believe what you want and I will too ! There just like Bullets - Powder - Brass etc some WORK Well and Some Don't ! I Believe YOU have VAST knowledge as you have proven time after time BUT you still don't know it ALL ! :dancingbanana:

I’m not sure what’s the issue in the first place. What harm is there in asking a guy about what primers he is using and really why would it even concern bartell, he should mind his own business, it was a simple sensible question.
Obviously he’s off his meds :dancingbanana:
