BCL Badger

I gave BCL a chance. After some negative experience. Trying to get ahold of them recently, and no reply. Are you guys aware they apparently do not have a phone #? Email only. Which apparently is unchecked or flat out ignored. I was excited for the badger. Having serious second thoughts. Once you buy, it seems they dont know you anymore....or only recognize you on their own ridiculous time line.

Reminds me of an ex-girlfriend, once she took what she wanted and delivered nothing she promised she was gone...

....stories like that invented Country Music...

Going to bet that the pony police have that FRT buried in the NOT UNTIL C-71 is defeated pile. The last thing they will do will be to approve this rifle for mfg and sale as NR, watch 1000's get shipped, C71 passes and then those same 1000's of NR baby-killers are suddenly "lost" in farm fields and secret hidey-holes.... nope. The badger has a mountain of bs red tape to climb now.

"In January 2019, Black Creek took a step further and shut down both the manufacturing division and the customer service department for an unprecedented eight (8) weeks in order to restructure with new staff and concurrently focus on the ejection issues that have plagued the non-restricted firearm; the iconic, infamous and Canadian made, “102”."

Wait so they straight up stopped handling customer service for two months and they're pitching this as a positive? Jesus H.

Black Creek Labs is excited to move forward with a new team, a new culture and a host of new products. The long-anticipated Badger, Catamount and Wejack are all scheduled to be released shortly and all three platforms have surpassed our expectations. We are also not far behind on our Skunk Bear (a PDW in 300BLK, 7.62×39 and 9mm) and a new semi-auto designed for calibers larger than 308.

How many oddly-named products are these people developing while ignoring buyers who have problems with their "infamous 102"? Maybe they should spend as much time making sure the guns they design work as they do thinking up names for them.

The biggest surprise here is that they consider NEA and BCL 2 different entities. Always thought that they just changed their name to distance themselves from their past rep. Whatever the truth is, shutting down customer support for a company that has bad qc is a bad idea.

Black Creek labs is now set to distribute the latest generation of 102, which is the first generation built by an independent Black Creek Labs. The Black Creek Labs customer support team is also finally operational and is now armed with the ability to cure the ejection issues of previous 102 models. We apologize that the customer service team was slow to respond to numerous backlogged requests over the last eight weeks, however we are back to our regular response times and now that we have determined the root cause of the systemic extraction issues, we are quickly shipping out extractor repair kits. Again, we apologize for the delay, however we are now prepared to get your 102s running how they were made to run.

That's pretty interesting. I'm curious how this new rifle will pan out.
