Arriving Soon The New Anschutz 1761

Good looking rifle. I like the enlarged trigger guard; and the new mag release. The improved bolt with 3 locking lugs should make for a smooth action and improved accuracy potential. Looking forward to shooting one.

There are two things I am wondering about the magazines:

1. Does Anschutz plan on introducing a 10-round version?
2. Will these be as exorbitantly priced as regular Anschutz magazines?

I have an older anschuetz and it takes 10 rd savage mags after the mags are easily modfied (takes 5 min). dont know if they changed their mag design ...

I'm familiar with the Savage magazine modification, but it would be nice to have a a more economical drop-in option. As far as I know, all Flobert II, 54, and 64 actions use the same magazine.

a few years back, CZ made rifles that were branded and sold as Walther rifles, it looks to my untrained eye that now CZ is making a rifle that is being branded and sold as an anshutz, that rifle has 457 written all over it with a slightly modified trigger group that incorporates the mag release

LOL... ah no. You cant compare a Skoda to a BMW.

CZ dont compare what so ever to this rifle neither in accuracy, fit or finish.
This rifle is 100% designed and manufactured by Anschutz in Ulm, Germany.
