Something like that... there is a reason a nr receiver is worth 1k right now
So 4 more days....
If this BS legislation passes, I will be handing in my badge and service weapon. No joke. Disarming law abiding Canadian citizens, paying off terrorists and creating a greater opportunity for underground illegal firearms trafficking is all this clown and his followers will accomplish. I want no part of it.

God Bless you sir! Too many with a badge are all too willing to enforce tyranny, thank you for counting yourself among those servicemen who refuse to be a part of such evil. If you're ever in my neck of the woods I would like to buy you a beer. The world needs more police officers like you.![]()

Of course it's coming. CBC is beating a drum in preparation of the incoming ban.
Seriously!![]()
I highly doubt anyone on this forum plans to shoot the authorities if/when they come knocking, but you gotta understand the frustration some are feeling about investing thousands of hard earned dollars into property only to have it become “illegal”.
I’ll also add that such resistance is not necessary as they do not have the time or resources to knock on every door to confiscate. A fraction of guns would be taken away before the next party is elected and reverses nonsense orders. They will depend on people voluntarily handing them in, the rest of them will be temporary criminals and their guns will not be able to leave the house/hole in the backyard.
This is quite a popular and active thread. Lots of users are showing up and chiming in. It's great to see this topic get so much attention on these boards. But if all these discussions and conversations stay here, we are stuck in an echo chamber and only just preaching to the choir.
Canadians may not have as big of an appetite for political activity as most European countries do, but it's very important that we make our voices heard to people outside these forums. Those most in need of your input are your MPs, not just your fellow firearm owners who will of course be opposed. Please look up your local Member of Parliament, and give them your calm, articulate and well-thought out argument about why this supposed Liberal agenda is absolutely a bad move for Canada. Cite sources. Give examples. Describe the role firearms have taken in your life, and perhaps in the relationship with your children or parents in these shared hobbies. Back up your statements with cool-headed common sense and remind them that your vote counts.
But don't just sit on these forums lamenting about how awful the situation is, because it accomplishes nothing.
This is the link to our current list of MPs
I encourage everyone who took the time to post here to take a few minutes out of your day to give a piece of your mind to the people who need to hear it most. Good luck, guys.
Wonder how many RCMP officers are watching this thread...
